Event Year: 2008

Piccolo and Goku catch up to Raditz and challenge him to a fight. After he notices they are getting stronger from removing clothing, he begins to get naked until Goku informs him that they are just wearing weighted clothing. Radditz, embarrassed and angered, attacks Piccolo and Goku. Goku dies. Piccolo then grows his arm back and flies off with Gohan.

The episode opens on a peaceful farm when a space pod crashes down onto Earth into a farmer's marijuana patch. Piccolo is interrupted by the alien, who confused him for someone named "Kakarot." At Kame House, the alien arrives and explains to Goku that he is actually part of an alien race called the Saiyans and that they are brothers. Raditz, the Saiyan, requests Goku to join him and destroy everyone on the planet. Goku declines, so Raditz takes Gohan and flies away.

After killing Zarbon, Vegeta takes the last dragon ball he needs from Krillin and goes off to retrieve the ball he hid. In route, Vegeta runs into Gohan who has stolen Vegeta's dragon ball but manages to hide it before Vegeta can see. Knowing Vegeta will figure out who took his dragon ball Gohan and Krillin head to Guru's to unlock Gohan's potential. Once Vegeta finds out he was duped he flys into a blind rage and shoots off in pursuit. Just as he and Krillin are about to face off, Guru warns them that Several high power levels are approaching the planet. Knowing this to be Freiza's most elite troop the Ginyu force Vegeta puts aside his quarrel to form an uneasy alliance with Gohan and Krillin to stop the Ginyu's.

Frieza Sends Zabon to retrieve the knocked out Vegeta. After being captured Vegeta mounts a daring escape and absconds with Frieza's Dragon balls in the process. Krillin flying around like a jackass with his new Dragonball draws both Vegeta and Zarbon out where they face off one last time.
