Everyone has been training intensely for the past three years to get ready to confront the androids and the prophesied day has finally come. Goku and the gang search South City for the androids the old fashioned way after learning they cannot sense their energy. After Yamcha gets Yamcha'ed when finally finding the androids the gang convince the androids to take their fight out to a wasteland Piccalo conveniently knows about. Something about Goku also seems off; he did take the medicine right?

Goku has finally returned to Earth. After he lands, the mysterious stranger named Trunks asks to speak with him in private. During this conversation, Goku( and Piccolo) learn from Trunks that he has come from the future to warn them about a coming danger of monster androids (cyborgs) that kill almost everyone. He tells Goku that shortly beforehand he will die of heart failure and he has also brought medicine to ensure Goku can be there to confront them. There are also some surprising revelations about Trunks heritage

A mysterious stranger who appears to be another Super Saiyan shows up and cuts Frieza's and King Cold's time on Earth short. After meeting up with the gang he claims to know where Goku will land in a couple of hours. Who is this mysterious stranger? and how does he know so much?

Vegeta returns to Earth after a long training stint, begins living with Bulma, and gets a change in wardrobe that leaves him tickled pink. Goku screwed up by leaving Frieza alive and now he and his father King Cold have come to earth to seek revenge. Unfortunately, Goku is still making his way back through space, the Z-fighters have gathered to try and stop them. Will they be able to hold out till Goku arrives?
