Hoping to reclaim the computer Haruhi extorted from the Computer Research Society earlier in the year, the Computer Research Society president challenges the SOS Brigade to a computer game they created for the cultural festival entitled The Day of Sagittarius III. Haruhi accepts his challenge, but soon finds out that playing the game is much harder than she thought. Yuki is initially mystified by the computer's operation but catches on quickly, as she will tend to do. Eventually, she manages to find out that Computer Research Society club members are cheating and is able to block and use it against them, thus winning the game and some laptops for the SOS Brigade club room.

Yasunobu talks with Yamato over the relationship, when Miki interrupts and gets in a heated argument with Yasunobu over her headstrong personality. The entire track-and-field team has been grumbling over Honoka's no-show, and for good reason after they learn what happened from Yamato. Miki had heard from Suzuka on what happened, and confronts Yamato about it. Yamato gives the same lie he gave Suzuka, but Miki isn't fooled and fishes out the truth. She then has Yamato treat her to dinner at an okonomiyaki place where she gets to understand Yamato a little better. Meanwhile Nana helps cheer Honoka up, and she gets brave enough to continue managing the track and field team with the hopes of confessing to Yamato properly in the future.
Priestess of Seiryuu
Miaka and Yui's happy reunion is cut short as a young foreigner named Nakago reveals Miaka to be the priestess of Suzaku. While Miaka and Yui are being chased, Chichiri and Tamahome are having their own problems as they fight their way into Kutou only to have Nakago block their path. When Tamahome finally reunites with Miaka, they are unknowingly under the ever watchful gaze of an old friend.
Footman Through a Change of Pairs
In the second round of the footman auditions, Usui and Misaki succeed in the required task of setting up a high class table for afternoon tea. But before the third round begins, Misaki falls off the stage.
